Seemingly
Small Sins
A ten-week study of King Saul
Israel’s first king wasn’t undone by one great sin. He was undone by the weight of many seemingly small ones, each training his heart a little further from the God who anointed him.
A guided Scripture journal.
Each week focuses on one incident in Saul’s life. You read it slowly in the World English Bible and ask what it shows about how compromise works. One crack runs through the whole series, the same fracture widening from a quiet half-truth at home to the battlefield at Gilboa.
It’s meant to be marked up. Bring a pen: underline, circle, and argue in the margin. The left column on every page is yours for whatever the Spirit prompts you to write.
“For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.”James 2:10 · WEB
Adults around a table.
It’s written for adult small groups, Sunday school classes, men’s and women’s groups, and church-wide studies. It also works for one person working through it alone. It suits anyone who suspects the sins they’ve learned to excuse are bigger than they look.
